Job summary

Avalore in Maryland seeks a Systems Engineer to apply lifecycle engineering across Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support and Retirement, ensuring technical integrity and complete deliverables in ISO/IEC 15288 areas.

The role partners with government stakeholders, engineers and executives, performing analyses of alternatives and delivering work products in multiple ISO/IEC 15288 process areas. A degree in engineering and a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience.
• High School Diploma or GED plus four (4) years of general system engineering experience (any Process Area).
• Master’s degree in Engineering or related field may substitute for one (1) year of experience.
• PhD in Engineering or related field may substitute for three (3) years of experience.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph is required to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems engineering activities across ISO/IEC 15288 Process Areas.
• Develop and deliver work products in ISO/IEC 15288 Process Areas.
• Analyze technical alternatives and provide preliminary recommendations.
• Assist in ISO/IEC 15288 Agreement or Enterprise Process Areas activities.
• Prepare multiple work products in Project and Technical Process Areas.
