Job summary

Avalore is seeking a Systems Engineer to apply systems engineering throughout the life cycle—from Concept through Retirement. The role involves interaction with Government stakeholders and senior executives to ensure technical integrity and high-quality deliverables across ISO/IEC 15288 process areas.

Candidates should hold an engineering degree with extensive experience (10+ years) or equivalent combinations, and must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree ... ten (10) years of systems engineering experience.
• High School Diploma or GED plus fourteen (14) years of general systems engineering experience
• Master’s degree in Engineering plus eight (8) years of systems engineering experience
• PhD in Engineering plus eight (8) years of systems engineering experience

Responsibilities

• Apply systems engineering across lifecycle phases from Concept to Retirement.
• Interact with Government and senior executives on technical considerations.
• Ensure technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work and deliverables.
• Perform analysis of technical alternatives and recommend options.
• Supervise or coordinate other engineers on a project.
• Adhere to ISO/IEC 15288 processes and deliver work products.
