Job summary

Avalore, LLC seeks an experienced Systems Engineer to apply full lifecycle engineering principles across concept to retirement phases. You will interact with government stakeholders and senior executives to ensure technical integrity and quality of work products within ISO/IEC 15288 process areas.

The role requires leading systems engineering activities, developing multiple deliverables, and evaluating alternatives to guide project design decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline with 15+ years of systems engineering experience.
• High School Diploma/GED with 19+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Master’s or PhD with 13+ years of systems engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Interact with Government and senior executives on technical considerations and issues.
• Lead contractor systems engineering activities and supervise engineering staff.
• Develop and deliver work products in ISO/IEC 15288 process areas.
• Analyze and propose engineering standards and processes for projects.
• Approve delivery of work products across ISO/IEC 15288 processes.
