Job summary

Arcfield is seeking an experienced engineer to support Non-Propulsion Electronic-Mechanical Systems for submarine combat control and payload systems. You will analyze requirements, perform testing, and support modernization efforts for weapons interfaces, launchers, and related subsystems.

Collaboration with the engineering team ensures reliable upgrades and compliant documentation. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and familiarity with Navy testing environments.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or equivalent with 5-7 years of experience; MS 3-5 or PhD 0-2 optional.
• Proven experience with DoD/US Navy non-propulsion electronic-mechanical systems.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and propose enhancements for Combat Systems and related platforms.
• Design, assess, and modernize system capabilities to meet Navy needs.
• Conduct test, evaluation, and quality assessments for requirements compliance.
• Develop CONOPS, performance specs, and interface documents.
• Coordinate with engineering teams on weapon system upgrades and data requirements.
