Job summary

Arcfield is seeking an experienced EW engineering professional to troubleshoot and maintain submarine Electronic Warfare systems, focusing on BLQ-10 and TI insertions. The role demands strong Linux skills, hands-on diagnostics, and collaboration with engineering and logistics teams.

You will support CONUS/OCONUS fleet operations, participate in system installations, upgrades, and documentation, and mentor junior team members. A Secret Clearance is required and travel is expected (35%).

Qualifications

• BS with 2–4 years or MS 0–2 or HS 8–10 in Electronics/CS or related field.
• Hands-on experience supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting submarine EW systems, preferably BLQ-10.
• Strong Linux knowledge: administration, automation, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with US Navy installation procedures, TEMPALTs, and SOVT processes.
• Ability to design, integrate, and manage complex system architectures.
• Willingness to travel CONUS/OCONUS (35%).
• Must possess and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and investigate EW system issues onboard submarines (BLQ-10 focus).
• Apply TI14–TI20 knowledge for diagnostics and maintenance.
• Hands-on Linux troubleshooting in EW software environments.
• Plan and document installation of new systems and temporary configurations.
• Design and manage complex system architectures across lifecycles.
