The role requires knowledge of Combat Systems, launcher and sensor interfaces, and experience with DoD/Navy platforms. A security clearance and strong communication abilities are essential for success.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering; MS or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with DoD/Navy Combat Systems or similar platforms.
• AN/BYG-1 TCS/SWFTS architecture knowledge.
• US citizenship and active DoD Secret clearance.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and enhance submarine/ship systems including Combat Systems.
• Design system modernization to meet Navy needs.
• Perform test, evaluation, and quality assessments for requirements compliance.
• Develop trade studies documenting risks and benefits of future systems.
• Coordinate with engineering team on weapon system upgrades.
• Prepare CONOPS, performance specs, and interface documentation.
• Support platform data package development and deliveries.
