Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a Non-Propulsion Electronics Systems Engineer to support U.S. Navy submarine operations and advanced undersea warfare systems.

The role targets former Navy Fire Control Technicians or Fire Controlmen with deep submarine combat knowledge. You will ensure systems remain operational, reliable, and mission-ready through hands-on testing and integration support. Applicants must be able to obtain a DoW Secret security clearance and work with naval operators, government stakeholders,

Qualifications

5+ years’ DoW or Armed Services experience.
Previously: Fire Control Technician (FT) or Fire Controlman (FC) in Navy.
Strong understanding of submarine combat and fire control systems.
Ability to read technical documentation and schematics.
Proven communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

Provide technical and operational expertise on Navy submarine fire control and related systems.
Support operation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and evaluation of hardware and software.
Analyze performance and help isolate issues in hardware, software, and integration.
Coordinate with Navy personnel, engineers, and contractors to resolve issues.
Prepare technical reports, briefings, and documentation for reviews and audits.
Assist in test planning, procedures, and evaluation activities.
