Job summary

Cape Henry Associates, now JANUS Research Group, seeks a Systems Engineer at Fort Belvoir, VA to support DoD networks and cyber compliance. The role integrates enterprise networking, data center virtualization, and secure communications across multi-enclave environments.

Requirements include a DoD Secret clearance, a Bachelor’s in engineering or related field, and at least six years of network systems engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, testing or related field.
• A minimum of six (6) years of network systems engineering experience.
• BS can be substituted with an additional 7 years of related experience performing network systems engineering functions.

Responsibilities

• Bridge enterprise networking, data center virtualization, and cyber compliance within defense environments.
• Plan and support administration, hardening, and troubleshooting of multi-enclave IP networks and storage infrastructure.
• Distill complex technical challenges into clear, decision-quality briefings for military leadership.
