Job summary
SmartTech Contracting LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer III - Design to support building automation and electrical power monitoring system projects from a remote setup across the United States. You will coordinate with MEP/FP engineers, ICT engineers, equipment vendors, and BIM resources to ensure design accuracy and acceptance of BAS/EPMS solutions.
The role involves creating design documents, diagrams, IO lists, and sequences of operations, with emphasis on secure network architectures and
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or related discipline.
- Two years of hands-on engineering, programming, testing, validation and troubleshooting of controls infrastructure.
- Minimum of three years additional BAS / EPMS engineering experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist in production of BAS/EPMS engineering documents.
- Support design reviews and project book/sheet specifications.
- Review RFIs, shop drawings, punch lists and project closeout docs.
- Assist in development of project progress reports and stakeholder communications.
- Leverage AI and digital tools to improve efficiency and workflows.
