Job summary

WOOD Federal Solutions in Annapolis Junction, MD is seeking a Systems Engineer Level 2 to translate user needs into system requirements and lead design and development activities.

You will own the architecture integrity, guide engineering and test plans, and collaborate with government stakeholders and senior leaders to ensure mission success.

This is a full-time, day-shift role requiring U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.

Qualifications

• Fourteen years of system engineering experience in programs of similar scope.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with possible substitutions.
• Strong knowledge of DoDAF/SOA architectures and system requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and develop system requirements specifications.
• Lead design and development activities and guide feasibility studies.
• Provide technical leadership for integration of requirements, design, and technology.
• Develop technical documentation and architecture/design documentation.
• Coordinate action items from reviews and ensure cross-discipline alignment.
• Interact with government stakeholders and senior leaders to communicate progress.
