Job summary

2HB Incorporated is seeking a Systems Engineer to support a government customer in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role focuses on documenting all phases of design, implementation, and maintenance for deploying new systems or upgrading FS sites.

The ideal candidate has a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph clearance, experience with IT systems, SIGINT platforms, virtualization, and cross-functional collaboration using JIRA and Confluence. On-site work in Maryland is required.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of multiple communications technologies, virtualization, systems architecture, and infrastructure for IT systems and SIGINT platforms.
• Proficient in designing, interpreting, and modifying System and Network Engineering Drawings (Visio, Adobe)
• Expertise in system and network administration across diverse platforms, including Linux and Windows environments.
• Extensive experience in network and data processing system integration, hardware and software configuration, deployment, and sustainment.
• Understanding/experience in Cisco networking, including routers, switches, and security protocols.
• Skilled in network and data processing system integration, including rack and stack installation, cabling, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of cloud computing concepts and best practices.
• The ability to create detailed system documentation and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (JIRA and Confluence).
