Job summary

WOOD Federal Solutions seeks a Systems Engineer Level 2 to shape mission-critical solutions. You will translate user needs and concepts of operations into clear system requirements, lead design and development activities, and guide teams toward feasible technical approaches.

You will own the technical integrity of complex architectures, integrate new designs into operations, produce essential documentation, and steer system development with well-planned engineering and test strategies,

Qualifications

• Fourteen (14) years' experience as a System Engineer in programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college.
• Five (5) years of additional System Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
• Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies.
• Develops technical documentation and system design documentation.
