RTX's Collins Aerospace in Richardson, TX is seeking a Systems Engineer II within the SDS-SAOC SEIT Team to develop mission-critical communication solutions for national defense.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers to decompose requirements, model system designs, and perform integration/testing for military platforms. Onsite role in Richardson, TX with mentorship and cross-functional Agile teamwork.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related STEM major by start date.
• Experience in capturing customer requirements, operations concept development, or deriving system requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform in a cross-functional agile team.
• Work with mentor using Collins Aerospace engineering processes.
• Create, decompose, and trace requirements for communications systems on military platforms.
• Use model-based systems engineering tools to create design diagrams.
• Perform integration and testing for communications solutions.
• Support future bids and proposals.
