Job summary

RTX Collins Aerospace in Richardson, TX is seeking a Systems Engineer II to join the SDS SAOC SEIT team onsite. You will develop and integrate mission-critical communications solutions for national defense, collaborating with seasoned engineers to enable secure, MBSE-driven design and testing.

Requirements include a Master’s in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related STEM field, plus experience in systems or software engineering, including requirements derivation and MBSE tools.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering or related STEM major obtained by start date.
• Experience in systems or software engineering including capturing customer requirements and deriving system requirements.
• Experience via on-the-job work, research, coursework or projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform in a cross-functional agile team.
• Collaborate with a mentor using Collins Aerospace engineering processes.
• Create, decompose, and trace requirements for communications systems on military platforms.
• Use MBSE tools to create design diagrams and perform integration and testing.
• Support future bids and proposals and new business opportunities.
