Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems, Multi-Domain Operations, and Missile Defense Integration is seeking a Systems Engineer – Level 2 or 3 in Colorado Springs, CO. You will support a growing portfolio focusing on missile defense, space, and intelligence, engaging in MS&A across the systems engineering vee.

Key duties include defining and tracing requirements, developing architecture using SysML, and coordinating verification and validation activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field from an accredited university plus 2 years experience, or Master’s with 0–2 years.
• Level 3 requires 5 years of related work experience or a Master’s with 3 years, or PhD with 1 year.
• Active US Secret clearance required to start.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% to support business needs.
• Experience translating customer needs into a mature baselined set of requirements.

Responsibilities

• Define, analyze, and manage system requirements and architecture with traceability from needs to designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, integrate, and troubleshoot system solutions.
