Work within a team of Systems and Software engineers to design, develop, and test software features for flight managementsystems that are integrated into military helicopters and planes.
Grow knowledge of Systems EngineeringandFlight Management Systems.
Integratesoftskills (leadership, communication, coordination, proactiveness) into adynamicenvironment that provides quality andtimelyproducts to internal and external customers.
Travel (domestic and international <10%)as needed .
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
2+ years of experience with C, C++, DOORS, ADA, and/or Python.
2+ years of experience in a Systems role.
Industry Experience of Software Lifecycle Development (Design, Requirements, Integration, Test).
Pilot/Avionics Experience (i.e.Private Pilot,AircraftMaintenance, DO-178 Certification).
Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance if needed after day 1.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
