Job summary

San Manuel Band of Mission Indians is seeking a Systems Engineer II to drive IT infrastructure innovation and ensure long-term enterprise benefits. You will research, design, and implement solutions, plan backup and disaster recovery, and lead projects from inception to delivery.

The role requires extensive experience with Windows Server, AD, scripting (PowerShell, Python), and enterprise storage/backup. On-call support and collaboration with vendors are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field required.
• Minimum six years of systems administration experience required.
• Proven expertise in Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP and scripting.
• Experience with SQL, VM, storage, backup, and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Design infrastructure solutions and lead technology initiatives.
• Guide project teams from architecture to delivery.
• Analyze business requirements and propose solutions.
• Review contracts for cost savings and evaluate substitutes.
• Handle incident, problem, and change management activities.
• Lead troubleshooting with internal teams and vendors.
• Create and maintain run books and architectural diagrams.
• Provide on-call support for enterprise clients and emergencies.
• Develop scripts to streamline operations and improve security posture.
• Participate in other duties to support IT department operations.
