Job summary

RTX in Tucson invites applications for a Systems Engineer I, Signal Processing to test and validate RF/EO-IR models and algorithms in lab environments. You’ll integrate solutions into tactical hardware/software, analyze results, and report findings to leadership.

A bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and experience with MATLAB or Python and C/C++ are required. The role requires the ability to obtain an Interim DoD security clearance and, ultimately, an active clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related STEM field by start date.
• Experience developing scripts in MATLAB or Python for data evaluation.
• Experience with C or C++ programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Participate in lab environments to test, verify, and validate RF or EO/IR models and signal processing performance.
• Integrate algorithms into system hardware/software and evaluate functionality and impact.
• Develop documentation, execute plans, analyze data, and communicate results to leadership.
