Raytheon's Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&T C) Surface Radars & Sensors Center is seeking Systems Engineers with an interest in working with ocean or radar systems. Our Portsmouth, RI team supports programs across the naval undersea and naval surface domains, including sensor systems, mine countermeasures, submarines, torpedoes, combat systems, and ship architecture and integration. Our engineers perform underwater acoustics analysis and tracking, develop and manage system requirements, integrate hardware and software, create test plans and procedures, troubleshoot and evaluate system functionality and interfaces, and verify system requirements in support of final customer sell-off.
We build our systems, exercise them in the lab or field, measure and analyze performance, and ensure our products work the first time and every time. Each day brings new challenges to solve. You'll collaborate across disciplines, partner closely to implement solutions, and gain a broad understanding of every aspect of the system playing a direct role in bringing everything together while supporting teams engaged in integration and test activities.
After completion of comprehensive on-the-job training, the candidate will be a part of a team supporting Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) activities across the product development lifecycle.
