The Surface Radars & Sensors Center is seeking talented STEM students with an interest in systems engineering. Our Portsmouth, RI team supports programs across the naval undersea and surface domains, including sensor systems, mine countermeasures, submarines, torpedoes, combat systems, and ship architecture/integration. Our engineers perform underwater acoustics analysis and tracking, develop and manage system requirements, integrate hardware and software, create test plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, and verify requirements in support of final customer sell-off. We build systems, exercise them in the lab and in the field, measure and analyze performance, and ensure our products work correctly the first time and every time. Each day brings new challenges. You'll collaborate across disciplines and teams to implement solutions. In this role, you'll gain exposure to every aspect of the system and play a direct part in making all components work together while supporting engineering teams through integration and test activities.
This position is an onsite role in Portsmouth, RI.
The candidate will learn real-world engineering skills by being part of a team supporting Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) activities for naval systems.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
