Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Systems Engineer I to perform requirements analysis, design, and system integration for cryptologic and cybersecurity missions in support of national security operations. The role involves architecture development, value analyses, and prototype deployment from concept to fielding.

Responsibilities include creating requirements, CONOPs, ICDs, data flows, and testing in NSA-aligned environments, plus CM support and change management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering plus 3 years of relevant experience
• Master’s degree in Engineering plus 1 year
• Doctoral degree in Engineering
• Alternatively: Bachelor’s/Master’s/Doctoral in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics with equivalent experience
• Active TS/SCI clearance required
• Experience with requirements analysis, system design, and integration activities
• Ability to work in a SCIF environment and travel as needed

Responsibilities

• Develop system requirements, CONOPs, and design documentation through stakeholder analysis and feasibility studies
• Perform functional analysis and synthesis; conduct value modeling and risk analysis to identify optimal solutions
• Develop Interface Control Documents (ICDs), data-flow diagrams, XML schemas, and metadata models
• Plan and execute integration and testing of prototypes following NSA Test and Evaluation standards
• Support hardware/software configuration management and troubleshooting of system failures
• Coordinate knowledge transfer and facilitate adoption of new processes with stakeholders
