Job summary

RTX (Raytheon) is seeking qualified candidates for a onsite role in Tucson, Arizona. The position emphasizes depot and sustainment engineering, with responsibilities spanning from receiving and provisioning to repairs, shipments, and supportability analyses.

The role requires a STEM degree by start date, knowledge of depot functions, and the ability to work across multiple engineering disciplines. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM by start date.
• Experience or coursework in System Design.
• Experience with depot functions and/or logistics.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Synchronize depot functions incl. receiving/induction, spares provisioning, repairs, plant clearance, sales, and shipping.
• Provide sustainment engineering support for developmental and legacy programs to achieve long-term product sustainment strategies.
• Act as liaison with engineering disciplines (Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Test, Materials and Processes, Structural design).
• Assist with supportability analyses and provide inventory recommendations (spares, excess scrap, substitutions).
• Collaborate across factory and logistics teams to resolve shipping backlogs.
• Coordinate with Depot Coordinator and Operations to facilitate factory hardware repair work.
• Engage in peer reviews, program reviews, design reviews, failure review boards, investigation teams, warranty claims and working groups.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program clearance.
