Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Electromagnetic Expeditionary Electronic Warfare Division at NSWC Crane. The role involves engineering, testing and documentation to enable production, sustainment, and deployment of advanced force-protection systems.

The candidate will analyze requirements, develop test plans, support lab and field tests, and collaborate with government engineers and testers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or technical equivalent.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to obtain and hold a Secret clearance.
  • Preferred: DoD, Navy, NSWC Crane, Electronic Warfare experience.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze system requirements and test data to support engineering and T&E.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, procedures, reports, and assessments.
  • Support planning, execution, and documentation of lab and field tests.
  • Translate requirements into test objectives and verification methods.
  • Review test data to assess performance and conformance.
  • Document test configurations, observations, results, and findings.
  • Support troubleshooting and root-cause investigations.
  • Document findings, actions, and risks.
  • Collaborate with government engineers and testers.
  • Prepare responses to RFIs, including JCREW FMS.
  • Support readiness reviews and briefings.
  • Prepare systems for delivery and sustainment documentation.
  • Provide technical data for manuals and courseware.
  • Maintain sustaining documentation.
  • Review others' technical docs for accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure proper CM labeling and submission of test records.
  • Handle multiple projects and schedules.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Engineering or technical equivalent
