Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Test and Evaluation Engineer to support the Expeditionary Electronic Warfare Division at NSWC Crane. You will develop test plans, procedures, and reports to verify and validate system requirements, and design and execute laboratory and field tests with RF/microwave systems.

The role involves operating RF measurement equipment, analyzing test data, and preparing technical assessments. Travel up to 25% and ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of RF/microwave/electronic systems engineering experience.
• Experience in test engineering, integration, or verification within a systems engineering environment.
• Familiarity with EW systems, RF propagation, signal analysis, or electromagnetic spectrum operations.
• Experience using RF test equipment and developing test plans and reports.
• Ability to interpret requirements and translate them into test methods.

Responsibilities

• Support DT&E activities for EW systems across the system lifecycle.
• Develop detailed test plans, procedures, and test reports for verification and validation.
• Design, plan, and execute laboratory and field tests, including RF and microwave testing.
• Configure and operate test instrumentation, RF measurement equipment, and data acquisition systems.
• Analyze test data and produce technical assessments and performance evaluation reports.
• Coordinate with government engineers, program managers, and IPTs for test planning and execution.
• Identify technical risks, troubleshoot anomalies, and support root cause analysis during testing.
• Support test readiness reviews, technical reviews, and DoD documentation.
• Assist in maintaining test schedules and coordinating resources.
