Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking a Systems Engineer to shape a roadmap for protecting devices portfolio. You will research product definitions, analyze automotive/industrial end-equipment, and negotiate IC development tradeoffs with design teams and customers.

You will serve as the technical expert for product ramp-up, provide application support, and train sales and applications groups on new and existing TI products. Expect collaboration across design, product, test, packaging, marketing and sales.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a relevant engineering field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in technology development or demand creation.
• Strong understanding of device physics, fab processes, packaging processes.
• Understanding of analog/mixed-signal ICs and their application.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
• Experience promoting/marketing ICs and driving design wins by providing system solutions.

Responsibilities

• Research and create new product definitions and strategies.
• Analyze end-equipment across automotive, industrial, consumer and computing spaces to identify trends and opportunities.
• Assess and negotiate IC development tradeoffs with design teams and customers.
• Be the technical expert responsible for product ramp-up for the customer.
• Application support for newly introduced and existing products.
• Support and train central applications engineering and sales on products.
