Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking a Systems Engineer to drive product definitions, analyze evolving end-equipment trends, and negotiate IC tradeoffs with design teams and customers.

You will act as a technical lead for product ramp, perform silicon system evaluations, and provide robust application support for TI’s growing line of ICs. Collaboration with sales, engineering and customers is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of analog/mixed-signal ICs and their applications.
• Experience promoting/marketing ICs and driving design wins by providing system solutions.
• Strong customer facing skills.
• Familiarity with lab equipment.
• System-level circuit modeling with EDA tools, SPICE and MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Research and create new product definitions, including business case proposals and product strategies.
• Analyze key end-equipment to identify trends and opportunities for improving performance.
• Assess and negotiate IC development tradeoffs with design team and customers.
• Be the technical expert for product ramp up.
• Silicon system evaluation (HW/SW) and related documentation.
• Application support for new and existing products.
• Support and train applications engineering and sales on products.
• Relentlessly drive new design wins and revenue growth.
• Collaborate across functions to solve system problems with TI silicon.
• Create technical literature such as datasheets, application notes and user guides.
