Job summary

White Sky Technologies, LLC specializes in systems engineering and technology management for U.S. Government clients. We are seeking a seasoned Systems Engineer to join our growing team in Maryland, responsible for leading SE efforts, engaging with customers, and coordinating with DevOps to track tasks in JIRA.

Candidates must hold TS/SCI with poly, have 14–20 years of experience, and possess a related degree. The role offers a competitive salary range and generous PTO.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline; 5 years additional SE experience may substitute for a degree.
• Active TS/SCI w/ poly clearance.
• Experience planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.
• Experience using Confluence and JIRA.
• Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills.
• Ability to engage with customers and team meetings.
• Communicate status to customer management and identify priorities.

We are seeking a Systems Engineers to join our growing team.

Requirements

• 14-20 years experience as a Systems Engineer on programs/contracts of similar scope, type and complexity
• Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management or related discipline; 5 years additional SE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree
• Active TS/SCI w/ poly clearance
• Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts
• Experience using Confluence and JIRA
• Requirements gathering, documentation
• Engage with customer and team meetings
• Work with customer management to communicate status, clearly identify priorities and milestones, and ensure customer requirements are met.
• Work with DevOps team to ensure tasking is captured in JIRA and updated as appropriate

Desired Skills

• Understanding of or experience with Kubernetes, Rancher,Helm
• Understanding of or experience with Elasticsearch and Kibana dashboards
• Understanding of or experience with Grafana dashboards

**Salary - $185,000 - $225,000, based on qualifications/experience
