Job summary

White Sky Technologies is seeking a seasoned Systems Engineer to join our team. The role requires 14–20 years of SE experience on programs of similar scope, and an active TS/SCI with poly clearance.

You will work with Confluence and JIRA, lead SE efforts, and coordinate with customers and DevOps to ensure milestones and priorities are met. Salary ranges from $185,000 to $225,000 based on qualifications and experience; generous benefits and PTO are offered.

Qualifications

• 14–20 years of Systems Engineer experience on programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Active TS/SCI with poly clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years extra SE experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience using Confluence and JIRA; strong requirements gathering and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead Systems Engineering efforts across programs.
• Engage with customer and team meetings to communicate status and priorities.
• Work with the customer management to ensure requirements are met and milestones are defined.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to capture and update tasks in JIRA.

We are seeking a Systems Engineers to join our growing team.

Requirements

• 14-20 years experience as a Systems Engineer on programs/contracts of similar scope, type and complexity
• Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management or related discipline; 5 years additional SE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree
• Active TS/SCI w/ poly clearance
• Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts
• Experience using Confluence and JIRA
• Requirements gathering, documentation
• Engage with customer and team meetings
• Work with customer management to communicate status, clearly identify priorities and milestones, and ensure customer requirements are met.
• Work with DevOps team to ensure tasking is captured in JIRA and updated as appropriate

Desired Skills

• Understanding of or experience with Kubernetes, Rancher,Helm
• Understanding of or experience with Elasticsearch and Kibana dashboards
• Understanding of or experience with Grafana dashboards

Salary - $185,000 - $225,000, based on qualifications/experience
