Job summary

White Sky Technologies seeks a senior Systems Engineer to join our growing team in handling government-related programs. You will lead systems engineering efforts, coordinate with customers and teams, and ensure DevOps tasks are properly tracked in JIRA and updated.

A TS/SCI with poly is required, along with strong experience in requirements gathering and documentation. We value deep technical knowledge and the ability to communicate status clearly, identify priorities, and align milestones with

Qualifications

• 14–20 years of Systems Engineer experience on large programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in SE/CS/IS/Eng Mgmt or related; 5 years substitute allowed.
• Active TS/SCI w/ poly clearance.
• Experience planning and leading SE efforts.
• Experience using Confluence and Jira.
• Requirements gathering and documentation.
• Engage with customer and team meetings.
• Communicate status, priorities, milestones with customer management.
• Work with DevOps to ensure tasks are captured in JIRA and updated.

We are seeking a Systems Engineers to join our growing team.

Requirements

• 14-20 years experience as a Systems Engineer on programs/contracts of similar scope, type and complexity
• Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management or related discipline; 5 years additional SE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree
• Active TS/SCI w/ poly clearance
• Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts
• Experience using Confluence and JIRA
• Requirements gathering, documentation
• Engage with customer and team meetings
• Work with customer management to communicate status, clearly identify priorities and milestones, and ensure customer requirements are met.
• Work with DevOps team to ensure tasking is captured in JIRA and updated as appropriate

Desired Skills

• Understanding of or experience with Kubernetes, Rancher,Helm
• Understanding of or experience with Elasticsearch and Kibana dashboards
• Understanding of or experience with Grafana dashboards

Salary - $185,000 - $225,000, based on qualifications/experience
