Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Systems Engineer/COMSEC Manager to support a high-impact, multi-agency program. The role combines Systems Engineering and COMSEC management across PKI-enabled SATCOM environments, with emphasis on secure lifecycle, inventory, and SOP updates.

The ideal candidate has TS/SCI with Poly, 5+ years COMSEC, 3+ years with End Cryptographic Units, and strong collaboration skills to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 8+ years of related experience (may substitute experience for degree)
• 5+ years COMSEC experience; 3+ years handling End Cryptographic Units and fill devices
• 3+ years handling electronic keying materials for internal and external COMSEC accounts
• Experience with NSA/CSS Policy Manual 3-16 and CNSSI policies; strong documentation skills
• Ability to maintain records, report security incidents, and provide periodic COMSEC status reports

Responsibilities

• Perform Systems Engineering and COMSEC Manager duties for the program
• Manage network encryptors and related systems; troubleshoot hardware/software issues
• Maintain COMSEC material inventory across the program and lifecycle
• Update SOPs and support rekey efforts on installation of new devices
• Brief and debrief users entering/exiting the COMSEC program and provide timely updates to Program Management
