Job summary

Bayer is seeking a Systems Engineer Co-Op in Pennsylvania to support Radiology Device R&D. The role offers hands-on, cross-functional collaboration on regulated medical device development across office and lab environments.

You will work on requirements, verification/validation, risk management, and documentation throughout the product lifecycle. Qualified candidates are enrolled in a relevant engineering program, have completed at least sophomore year, and can work full-time during the Co-op.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in an accredited bachelor's or master's program in a related engineering discipline.
  • Completion of sophomore year or higher and ability to work full-time during the Co-op.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and teamwork skills with good communication.

Responsibilities

  • Support systems engineering activities throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Assist with requirements development, traceability, and change management.
  • Support verification, validation planning, execution, data collection and reporting.
  • Participate in investigations, root cause analysis and risk management.
  • Contribute to human factors and usability engineering activities.
  • Prepare engineering summaries and reports from test data; support design reviews.
