Job summary

Bayer HealthCare is seeking college or graduate students for an Engineering Co-op at the Indianola, PA location. You will work with the Systems Engineering team to define requirements and solve problems across device development, supporting both existing products and new developments.

The role offers hands-on experience in medical device development, systems engineering, and cross-functional collaboration, with on-site work in Indianola, PA.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor's or graduate degree program in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Completion of sophomore year or higher.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support systems engineering activities throughout various phases of product development.
• Collaborate with technical teams to address challenges and engineer solutions to meet deadlines.
• Assist with requirements development, review, and management activities.
• Support lifecycle engineering for existing products and new development programs.
• Work in both office and laboratory environments to develop practical engineering solutions.
• Apply hands-on problem-solving and product development approaches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project execution and product delivery.
