Job summary

Andros Innovations is seeking a Systems Engineer in Boston to turn P&IDs and CAD models into functioning hardware on reactor skids. You will bridge digital design and physical assemblies, drive component selection, and participate in initial validation testing.

You will design, source, and assemble hardware, maintain meticulous documentation, and support safety reviews in a fast-paced, equity-bearing startup environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 2–4 years hardware project experience.
• Fluent CAD proficiency with solid modeling and detailed drawings.
• Strong understanding of fittings, seals, materials compatibility, and safety.
• Experience interfacing between design and fabrication teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed CAD models for reactor skids and piping using SolidWorks.
• Manage the Bill of Materials and source valves, regulators, and fittings.
• Assemble pilot skids in the bay and perform initial validation tests.
• Draft and execute test plans for leak checking and subsystem validation.
• Maintain as-built documentation and support safety reviews (HAZOP).
