Andros Innovations Incorporated is seeking a Catalyst Engineer who thrives in a wet-lab and reactor environment to turn breakthrough chemistry into reliable data. You will synthesize catalysts, run test rigs, and ensure robust, reproducible data pipelines while maintaining safety in handling toxic gases.

You will use XRD, BET, and Chemisorption to characterize materials and apply Python/MATLAB to extract kinetic insights, supporting rapid iteration toward a low‑pressure ammonia synthesis

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or Chemistry; recent graduates welcome.
• MS/BS with 2–4 years of relevant R&D experience in lab/ reactor settings.
• Extensive wet-lab and reactor lab experience; air-sensitive materials handling.
• Ability to fix and modify test hardware; strong mechanical aptitude.
• Proficient in Python, MATLAB, or JMP for kinetic data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize and optimize catalyst batches from grams to kilograms with quality control.
• Operate catalyst screening rigs and pilot reactors in a lab setting.
• Handle Swagelok systems, mass flow controllers, and thermocouples; diagnose issues.
• Characterize materials using XRD, BET, Chemisorption and relate to performance.
• Process raw reactor data to compute conversion, yield, and kinetics.
• Participate in safety reviews (HAZOPs) for toxic gas handling.
