Job summary

AT Process Technologies is building a core team of engineers to develop autonomous skidded production systems for modular energetics manufacturing. As our Systems Engineer, you will own the integration point between chemistry, process, mechanical, and controls — defining requirements, architecting how subsystems fit together, and ensuring the whole system works as one.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline with Systems focus
  • 2+ years in systems engineering or integration roles
  • Experience owning end-to-end systems integration on hardware programs
  • Strong fundamentals across mechanical, process, and controls domains
  • Experience with requirements management and interface control
  • Ability to work hands-on in lab, fabrication, and plant environments
  • Proven problem-solving skills and disciplined approach to ambiguity

Responsibilities

  • Own systems engineering for modular energetics production plants from requirements through integration, verification, and commissioning
  • Translate process and chemistry requirements into system-level architecture and specifications
  • Define and manage interfaces between mechanical, controls, process, and chemistry subsystems
  • Lead requirements traceability and map design decisions to safety and performance requirements
  • Conduct system-level trade studies and risk analyses across domains
  • Develop and maintain system architecture diagrams, ICDs, and technical baselines
  • Coordinate design reviews and identify integration risks early
  • Support verification/validation planning and test coverage mapping
  • Lead or support hands-on integration, commissioning, and site testing
  • Drive root-cause analysis on system-level anomalies
  • Collaborate with process/chemistry/mechanical/controls teams to maintain schedule
  • Contribute to test plans, docs, and engineering reviews
