Job summary

Harbinger is seeking a Systems Engineer to own end-to-end definition, integration and architecture of ADAS features, teleoperation systems for remotely operated vehicles, and core EV platform architectures.

You will bridge autonomous perception, remote command teleoperation, and high-voltage EV powertrains, leading the lifecycle from use cases to vehicle-level validation, including Functional Safety and cybersecurity across Harbinger platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of systems engineering experience in AVs, robotics, UGVs, or EV platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Knowledge of safety standards (ISO 26262, MIL-STD-882, UL 4600) and safe fallback mode design.
• Experience with modeling/analysis tools (MATLAB/Simulink, C++, ROS/ROS2) and vehicle network protocols.

Responsibilities

• Architect Teleoperation & Control Pipelines for low-latency operation.
• Define safe fallback modes for degraded links and high-latency events.
• Decompose vehicle requirements into system, component, and interface specs.
• Lead validation, DVP&R, and testing across SIL/HIL/proving grounds.
