Job summary

Gromelski and Associates, Inc. is seeking an early‑career Systems Engineer for the Integrated Submarine Imaging Systems Program Team in Manassas, VA.

The role focuses on translating customer needs into system architectures using MBSE, SysML/UML, and a mix of commercial and custom hardware/software, with an agile development approach. The position requires analytical problem solving, documentation discipline, and the ability to collaborate across hardware, software, and test disciplines.

Qualifications

• Experience solving technical problems in systems engineering.
• Experience with requirements engineering, CONOPS, interface design, system integration.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain system documentation (requirements, V&V, test plans).

Responsibilities

• Perform requirements analysis to define system objectives and constraints.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to engineer complex technical solutions.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation (requirements, verification matrices, test plans, diagrams).
• Develop system models using MBSE software.
• Conduct market research and trade studies for system components.
• Prototype and test new products and capabilities in prototype environments.
• Deliver presentations for program meetings and customer reviews.
