Kratos Defense and Security Solutions seeks a motivated Systems Engineer in Indiana to support the AN/SPY-1 radar system's development and sustainment. This role involves leading requirements development, managing technical baselines, and collaborating across engineering teams. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, over 10 years of engineering experience, and holds an Active Secret Clearance. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in systems engineering or radar system development/sustainment.
• Strong understanding of system engineering lifecycle processes.
• Experience working with complex radar or defense electronic systems.
• Familiarity with MBSE methodologies and tools (e.g., Cameo, Rhapsody, DOORS, or equivalent).
• Strong communication, collaboration, and technical writing skills.
• Active Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support development of system-level requirements for radar subsystems.
• Develop and manage requirements traceability to specifications.
• Support creation of digital technical baseline leveraging MBSE tools.
• Define and maintain functional, logical, and physical architectures.
• Participate in design recovery and reverse engineering efforts.
• Analyze subsystem interdependencies and define specifications.
• Collaborate to develop verification and validation plans.
• Contribute to technical reviews, risk assessments, and planning.
• Support baseline control through configuration management.
• Assist with development of Integrated Data Packages.
