Kratos Defense and Security Solutions is looking for a highly motivated candidate for a full-time Systems Engineer position. The role involves full lifecycle systems engineering support for radar and hypersonic technology programs within the aerospace and defense sectors. Candidates should have experience developing requirements, system design documentation, and utilizing Cameo models. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering discipline and a U.S. DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one are required. Qualifications

• 5-10 years of relevant industry experience.
• A U.S. DoD Secret Clearance or higher (or the ability to obtain such a clearance if needed).

Responsibilities

• Analyzing customer requirements and allocating them to system elements.
• Developing system architectures for new and existing systems.
• Conducting trade studies and design research.
• Developing system design documentation.
• Leading technical reviews and supporting testing activities.

Skills

Experience developing system requirements, system designs, and verification documentation

Experience working within the Defense and/or Aerospace industry

Experience in radar systems and/or hypersonics

Experience with MBSE and Cameo

Sharp analytical abilities

Excellent communication skills

Demonstrated technical leadership capabilities

Sense of ownership and urgency

Education
