Job summary

SageCor Solutions in Maryland is seeking a qualified Systems Engineering leader with active TS/SCI with polygraph to drive large DoD programs.

You will coordinate agile at scale, SAFe practices, manage complex programs, and collaborate with vendors and PMO teams. A strong cyber/DoD background and experience with Jira/Confluence are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree requirements and years of experience vary by degree: bachelor 18 years, master 15 years, high school/associates 20 years.
• Experience developing products or managing engineering activities in software, systems, or technical development environments.
• Demonstrated ability coordinating complex programs involving multiple Agile Release Trains, engineering organizations, or technical suppliers.
• Strong understanding of SAFe and Agile at scale, especially in cyber DoD programs.
• Experience supporting DoD contracts, military programs, or government technology initiatives.
• Background in cybersecurity, cyber operations, information assurance, or related security disciplines.
• Experience facilitating large-scale planning, execution, synchronization, and continuous improvement events.
• Experience using Jira and Confluence.
• Strong communication, facilitation, organization, and stakeholder management skills.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum experience requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree: 18 years of relevant experience
• Master’s degree: 15 years of relevant experience
• High school diploma or associate degree: 20 years of relevant experience
• Experience developing products and/or managing engineering activities in software, systems, or technical development environments.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating complex technical programs involving multiple Agile Release Trains, engineering organizations, or technical suppliers.
• Strong understanding of Agile at scale, particularly the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), in a cyber-centric Department of Defense program environment.
• Experience supporting DoD contracts, military programs, or other government technology initiatives.
• Background in cybersecurity, cyber operations, information assurance, or related security disciplines.
• Experience facilitating large-scale planning, execution, synchronization, and continuous improvement events.
• Experience using enterprise collaboration and program management tools, including Jira and Confluence.
• Strong communication, facilitation, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with engineering teams, program leadership, vendors, PMO personnel, and external cybersecurity organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership, remain actively engaged, and drive issues to resolution.
