The role requires TS/SCI with polygraph and hands-on experience integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in heterogeneous Linux environments. Key skills include Linux CLI, Ansible, Python, container technologies (Docker, containerd, Podman), Helm Charts for Kubernetes deployments, and GitOps practices.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years of experience in integrating, configuring, and supporting software in heterogeneous OS environments.
• Alternate path: 5 years of CS-related full-time work with 8+ years demonstrable experience.
• A Master’s Degree may substitute for two years of experience.

Serving Maryland and the Greater Washington D.C. area, SageCor Solutions (SageCor) is a growing company bringing complete engineering services and true full lifecycle System Engineering services to areas requiring (or desiring) nationally-recognized expertise in high performance computing, large data analytics and cutting edge information technologies.

Active TS/SCI W/ Polygraph Required.

SIE-3 Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and have at least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.

OR

The individual shall have five (5) years full time Computer Science directly related work that can be substituted for a degree and have at least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience.

OR

An industry recognized professional certification, as defined in the TT0s, may substitute as one (1) year experience. A Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field may substitute for two (2) years' experience.

Position Required Skills:

• Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux Tools


• Experience with IaC principles and automation tools using Ansible


• Experience developing with Python to develop custom Ansible modules


• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, containerd, Podman


• Experience creating Helm Charts to deploy containerized services in a Kubernetes environment


• Experience with DevOps/GitOps principles, concepts, and best practices creating release

candidates for deployment, maintaining, and troubleshooting pipelines

• Working knowledge of Git, including branching strategies and tagging


• Experience developing comprehensive, high-quality technical documentation for new products

and modifications such as installation guides, troubleshooting run books, and architectural diagrams

Position Desired Skills:

• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)


• Familiar with Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies


• Familiar with Datacenter Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools such as Netbox
