SageCor Solutions in Maryland, serving the Greater Washington D.C. area, is a growing engineering services company delivering full lifecycle system engineering for high performance computing and data analytics.

We seek a Software Engineer (SWE-1) with active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph clearance to join our team. Candidates should have a Master's or Bachelor's with relevant SWE experience, strong Linux and Python skills, and familiarity with Ansible, PostgreSQL, GitLab CI, and container technologies

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux CLI and Linux tools.
• Recent software development experience using Python.
• Familiar with automation frameworks like Ansible.
• Familiar with SQL technologies including PostgreSQL.
• Familiar with CI/CD concepts and GitLab CI.
• Familiar with containerization (Docker, Podman, containerd).
• Experience with Git Source Control.

Serving Maryland and the Greater Washington D.C. area, SageCor Solutions (SageCor) is a growing company bringing complete engineering services and true full lifecycle System Engineering services to areas requiring (or desiring) nationally-recognized expertise in high performance computing, large data analytics and cutting edge information technologies.

Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph required.

SWE-1 Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• OR
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus two (2) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• OR
• Four (4) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Position Required Skills:

• - Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools
• - Recent software development experience using Python
• - Familiar with automation frameworks including Ansible for orchestrating deployment
• - Familiar with SQL technologies including PostgreSQL
• - Familiar with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI
• - Familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker, PodMan, containerd
• - Experience with Git Source Control System

Position Desired Skills:

• - Familiar with Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
• - Familiar with Datacenter Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools such as Netbox
• - Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
