Job summary

DCCA in Maryland is seeking a Systems Engineer 2 to support the HPDA PMO, developing critical technical documentation and system architectures for high data volume programs.

Candidates must hold active TS/SCI with Poly, have a relevant engineering degree, and be able to work in a fast-paced government contracting environment; the position offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support the HPDA PMO with data gathering and documenting systems engineering artifacts such as Requirements Verification.
• Develop and maintain the Traceability Matrix (RVTM).
• Prepare and review Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP).
• Contribute to the Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP).
• Produce System Architecture Documents and related artifacts as needed.

• Support the HPDA PMO with gathering data and generating critical systems engineering documentation (such as Requirements Verification)
• Traceability Matrix (RVTM)
• Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP)
• Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP)
• System Architecture Documents (and others as needed)

Applies systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. Responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288:

• Technical Process Area - Stakeholder Requirements Definition, Requirements Analysis, Architectural Design, Implementation, Integration, Verification, Transition, Validation, Operation, Maintenance, and Disposal.
• Project Process Area - Project Planning, Project Assessment and Control, Decision Management, Risk Management, Configuration Management, Information Management, and Measurement.
• Enterprise (Organizational Project-Enabling) Process Area - Project Portfolio Management, Infrastructure Management, Lifecycle Model Management, Human Resource Management, and Quality Management.
• Agreement Process Area - Acquisition and Supply.

EDUCATION

A High School Diploma or GED plus six (6) years of general system engineering experience (any Process Area).

OR

A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus two (2) years of systems engineering experience.

OR

A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.

OR

A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.

The proposed salary range for this position in Maryland is 130,000 to 140,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
