Job summary

Victory Church is seeking a Systems Director to coordinate, operate, and provide technical support for all production systems across ministries. You will oversee production networks, data servers, and streaming delivery, ensuring high reliability for weekend services and campus broadcasts.

The role requires hands-on knowledge of live production, HD signal processing, and network infrastructure, with the ability to develop SOPs and manage cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and critical thinking to manage cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of audio/video/lighting in ministry environments.
• Experience with live production and broadcast systems.
• IT/network concepts and production data management.

Responsibilities

Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO)

GENERAL

• Oversee all technical projects in alignment with organization’s goals.
• Oversee production networks, development, data systems, and processes.
• Create and establish Production SOPs for production equipment.
• Provide technical support to all ministries as needed.
• Serve as department backup for A/V/L positions as needed.

NETWORK

• Collaborate with IT Department on implementation of production equipment.
• Oversee, engineer, and maintain Production Data Servers (Digital Signage, Livestream, Controllers, Projectors, etc.)
• Implement and manage Production network policies.
• Maximize network performance by monitoring and troubleshooting network problems.

WEEKEND SERVICES

• Oversee and troubleshoot A/V/L systems to ensure proper functionality for weekend services.
• Monitor campus technical gear to ensure performance quality, connectivity, and efficiency.

ACQUISITION AND DEVELOPMENT

• Handle all software and hardware upgrades for production systems.
• Manage and support all campus’ digital signage systems. (Digital Communication and Information, Directional Signage, Cafe´ Menus, etc.)
• Develop and execute delivery of live and recorded broadcast streams to all digital platforms.

HARDWARE INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE

• Handle installation of all production rack equipment, and other production equipment including but not limited to, fixtures, consoles, switchers, servers etc.

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

• General knowledge of audio, video and lighting systems as they pertain to ministry environments.
• Physical agility to support production set up for activities and events.
• Network and IT based systems experience and knowledge.
• Extensive working knowledge live production, HD signal processing, signal theory and network infrastructure.
• A solid working knowledge of digital video and broadcast systems.

COMPUTER / SOFTWARE

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Planning Center Online web-based software.
• Knowledge of both Mac and Microsoft 365 Office Suite software.
