Job summary

Victory Church Oklahoma City Campus is seeking an OKC Live Production Director to lead audio, video, and lighting for weekly services, rehearsals, and events. You will train volunteers, oversee AVL systems, and partner with campus pastors on stage design and production standards.

The role requires 3+ years in live production, strong leadership, and the ability to work evenings and weekends. ProPresenter and Planning Center expertise are preferred, with budget and vendor oversight

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, operate, and provide technical support for video, audio, lighting, and production equipment for weekly gatherings, special events, and offsite events.
• Apply a working knowledge of large-scale church productions, including the rigging and programming process for live and recorded events.
• Oversee the programming of lighting for all gatherings and events at the OKC campus
• Work with Executive LP Pastor and OKC LP Pastor to design and implement stage set designs annually.
• Ensure weekly that venue platforms and LP areas are clean, gathering-ready, and in working order.
• Work closely with the Live Production Team to assume primary responsibility for coordinating and operating AVL equipment across all OKC venues.
• Build and maintain a strong, healthy Live Production team of volunteers.
• Recruit, train, and empower volunteers to operate production equipment, with training that covers style, team building, spiritual development and technical levels for advancement.
• Understand and advocate for the Live Production team, including cross-training within the department and communicating the “why” behind the production team to the local church.
• Serve as primary manager of all aspects of the production Serve Team, including recruitment, training, scheduling on Planning Center, leadership development, appreciation, and database management.
• Organize, schedule, and attend regular training sessions for potential Serve Team members.
• Work with OKC LP Pastor to create a system of leadership development to cultivate and train potential production Serve Team leaders.
• Understand basic concepts including, but not limited to, electrical safety, rigging, video switchers, cabling, circuits, audio, lighting, and video equipment.
• Work with OKC LP Pastor in troubleshooting and management contact for audio, video, and lighting systems, including updating hardware, software, and equipment firmware.
• Regularly clean and maintain projectors, lighting, equipment racks, and other production equipment.
• Load and program content for gatherings and events.
• Provide audio/visual/lighting technological guidance within the organization.
• Participate in vendor contract negotiations for all new AVL equipment and services purchased for the church.
• Work with OKC LP Pastor to manage and maintain accounts within the annual Production budget.

POSITION SUMMARY

The OKC Live Production Director works under the LP Pastor to execute all OKC campus needs related to audio, video, and lighting, ensuring excellent, worship-ready delivery for every gathering, rehearsal, and event. This role coordinates, operates, and provides technical support for video, audio, lighting, and production equipment for weekly services, special events, and offsite events, and provides leadership and training to production, technical, and audio staff and volunteers across all Victory Church ministry areas at the OKC Campus, particularly on the tools and technology used by the Live Production and Worship teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Service & Event Production

• Coordinate, operate, and provide technical support for video, audio, lighting, and production equipment for weekly gatherings, special events, and offsite events.

WORK SCHEDULE

• Sunday and Wednesday gatherings are required. Some Saturdays are required during special holiday gatherings like Easter and Christmas.
• Special events, including occasional travel to other Victory campuses and offsite outreach events (Youth Camp, prison ministry, leadership retreats)
• Flexible weekday hours for preparation, training, and maintenance.

Supervises: All Volunteer Production teams, Technical, and Audio volunteers (OKC campus)
