Job summary

Tektora in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Technical Requirements Systems Engineer to translate customer needs into scalable technical solutions. You will work with Product Owners, Systems Engineers and Software Developers to deliver secure, enterprise-scale platforms.

You will gather requirements, document them, and act as a liaison between customers and engineering teams, ensuring successful delivery from concept through deployment in a hybrid environment with up to one remote day per week.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required.
• Experience gathering and documenting functional and technical software requirements.
• Experience working with Agile software engineering teams.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and Microservices.
• Cloud platform knowledge, ideally AWS.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to bridge technical and business teams effectively.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document functional and technical requirements.

Due to continued growth across several mission-critical programs, we're looking for an experienced Technical Requirements Systems Engineer to join a highly collaborative engineering team delivering secure, enterprise-scale platforms.

This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of business and technology—translating customer needs into technical solutions that enable complex software systems to evolve and scale. You'll work closely with Product Owners, Systems Engineers and Software Developers to ensure projects are delivered successfully from concept through deployment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Gather, analyse and document functional and technical requirements.
• Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to understand business workflows and translate them into technical solutions.
• Act as the primary technical liaison between customers and engineering teams.
• Support sprint planning, execution, demonstrations and functional testing.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers and Systems Engineers throughout the development lifecycle.
• Produce clear technical documentation and maintain project artefacts.

• Present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across engineering teams.
