Dematic is seeking a creative, results-driven Systems Engineer to drive development, testing, and integration of the Dematic solution. You will join an interdisciplinary technical team delivering to customers and coordinating validation from sales turnover through project execution.

Required: BS in Electrical, Controls, or Software Engineering; 7+ years in engineering (material handling preferred); strong leadership and customer-facing communication; proven ability to write technical

• Ability to create technical documentation and work with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for validation at turnover from Sales to Project execution and ensure the sold is delivered.
• Participate in all engineering discussions and actively participate in the project.
• Attend and facilitate layout discussions with internal teams and customers.
• Attend and facilitate controls discussions internal and with the customer.
• Attend and support the Functional Description Specification Workshop(s) with the customer.
• Generate System Specification for customer approval and understanding of the system.
• Define and agree on interfaces between components (HW/SW/Controls/IT/Subsystems).
• Coordinate required simulation updates and integration of results into the project.
• Create and execute test planning and management to verify the completed system.
• Guide system tuning and define adjustments.

This position can be located in a major field office - Wauwatosa, WI, Grand Rapids, MI, Dallas,TX or Atlanta, GA.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $96,000 to $140,800 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

This is What you Will Do in This Role:

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Controls, or Software Engineering, required (or acceptable alternative)

• Master or Advanced Degree in Engineering, preferred

• 7+ years’ experience in engineering with demonstrated experience in material handling industry preferred

• Functional leadership and expert communications

• Demonstrated ability to create technical documentation.

• Ability to be customer facing, good with customer interaction.

• Collaborative and effective team player and able to work with teams who are regionally located

• Willingness to travel for extended periods based on project life cycle. Approximately 60% annually.
