Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Systems Engineer to validate solutions, lead engineering discussions, and drive testing from concept to customer delivery. You will work with a cross-functional team across HW, SW, and controls, and collaborate closely with customers in major field offices including Atlanta, GA.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Electrical/Controls/Software Engineering, 7+ years in engineering, and strong documentation skills. Role requires significant travel and cross-team coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Controls, or Software Engineering.
• Master or advanced degree in Engineering preferred.
• 7+ years’ experience in engineering, material handling industry preferred.
• Strong leadership and communications skills.
• Ability to travel ~60% annually.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for validation from Sales to Project execution.
• Participate in engineering discussions and project reviews.
• Attend layout discussions with customer and internal teams.
• Attend controls discussions with customer.
• Generate System Specification for customer approval.
• Coordinate interfaces between HW/SW/Controls/IT.
• Create and execute FAT, emulation, SIT, and throughput tests.
• Guide system tuning and adjustments.
