Job summary

Dexcom is seeking an experienced Systems Design Engineering Manager in San Diego to lead test system design and validation efforts for CGM products. You will manage a team, troubleshoot in real time, and drive continuous improvement across test processes in sensor manufacturing.

Ideal candidates have a technical engineering degree, 8–12 years in the field, and proven leadership in medical device testing with knowledge of ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; 8–12 years in industry.
• 3+ years leading medical device testing, design, verification.
• Structured problem solving and statistical analysis skills.
• Experience with ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise advanced test systems in sensor manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot challenges in real time and influence validation.
• Mentor the team in investigations of testing failures.
