Job summary

Dexcom in San Diego is seeking a Systems Design Engineering Manager to lead advanced test systems, safeguard product integrity, and mentor a team of experienced engineers.

You will drive continuous improvement, balance high-priority requests from stakeholders, and partner with manufacturing and quality to ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820. This role offers growth opportunities on a global scale and a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in medical device testing, design, development, and/or verification with leadership
• Solid understanding of structured problem solving and test method validation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with EI
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820 requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and maintenance of advanced test systems.
• Safeguard product integrity and quality across the manufacturing floor.
• Mentor and develop a team of engineers; drive investigations of testing failures.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to modernize, scale and optimize test processes.
